Over the last decade, there has been an increase in bars and restaurants serving non-alcoholic options for those that choose not to drink alcohol. The outcome is many places have created incredibly delicious beverages without the need for any kind of liquor. The next time you’re in the mood for something a little different, check out these Metro Detroit bars and restaurants serving up tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. 

Dragonfly

2929 East Grand Boulevard, Detroit

A brightly-colored, farm-to-table restaurant, Dragonfly is a nod to the seaside bodegas in southern Spain. While their bar features world-class cocktails, they also specialize in making mocktails and low-alcohol cocktails. Many of their mocktails and cocktails feature their house-made N/A spirits. Perhaps the highlight of their drinks other than the flavors are the gorgeous garnishes adorning the top.

Takoi

Takoi started as a food truck in 2014 and evolved into a brick-and-mortar restaurant with a long list of accolades. They have several non-alcoholic options on their menu that are sure to keep you refreshed and coming back for more.

Brooklyn Street Local

Brooklyn Street Local is a neighborhood spot for breakfast, lunch and brunch. In addition to their coffee and tea menu, they also have a rotating non-alcoholic selection. Currently, they have their Watermelon Punch with Fresh watermelon juice, lemon balm simple syrup, lime, and ginger beer.

Grey Ghost

A Detroit staple, Grey Ghost has a vast bar menu that includes several tasty mocktails. Whether you’re looking for something fruity, light, or cola-based, there’s something for everyone. Each mocktail feels uniquely special. The Lift Off is like a vacation in a glass with orange, cucumber, melon, ginger, and cream.

Bar Pigalle

One of the best new restaurants in Detroit, Bar Pigalle brings a fun twist to French cuisine. While their bar menu is something to swoon over, you won’t want to miss out on their mocktails. If classic cocktails without the booze are what you’re hoping for, they offer both non-alcoholic Gin and Tonic and Skeleton Key among other delicious options.
